DR. RODRIGO DEANTONIO MD. MSc. Dr.PH
Medical specialist in Epidemiology from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario University in Colombia, Master in Pharmaco-economics from the Pompeu Fabra University in Spain and PhD in Public Health from the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico. He trained in cancer epidemiology at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in Lyon, France.
He held different positions in the pharmaceutical industry for the development of clinical research, epidemiology and health economics in countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa for vaccine-preventable diseases, including rotavirus, pneumococcus, meningococcus, HPV, pertussis, hepatitis, respiratory syncytial virus, influenza, varicella and dengue.
Since 2018 he is the Executive and Scientific Director of Cevaxin, research center in Panama, where clinical and epidemiological studies for vaccine-preventable diseases are conducted. He is a member of SLIPE, APHA and ISPOR.

Panamanian physician graduated from the University of Panama and is specialized in epidemiology and public health research at the University of South Florida.
Postgraduate professor in clinical research, epidemiology and primary care.
Researcher focused on health systems, digital health, big data in health, covid epidemiology, cancer, and geospatial analysis.
Winner of the best public health research project in Panama. He has published multiple scientific articles and book chapters in epidemiology and indigenous maternal and child health.
He is currently a scientific advisor for high impact public health diseases and innovation ecosystem modifier. In addition, he is the leader of the health faculty at the Istmo University in Panama.
